The company was formed as the exclusive representative for creator Raimond Lap and the Lovely Baby CD music series for the U.S. market. ABOUT LOVELY BABY CDs The Lovely Baby CD series is the first and only original music series specifically created for the emotional, intellectual and physical devleopment of babies (birth to 36 months.)This mostly all-instrumental music contains no lyrics (except our "Lovely Baby & Daddy" CD.) According to Mr. Lap, lyrics at such an early age don’t add to the value of the music. Lovely Baby CDs are currently sold in 80 countries and experiencing excellent results everywhere they are available. ABOUT RAIMOND LAP With the birth of his first child in 1990, Mr. Lap was unable to find what he considered suitable music with the right educational values for his son. A conservatory-trained classical composer himself, he set out to create his own music for his child, with no thoughts of commercial possibilities. He knew by combing the key elements of classical music - melody, harmony and rhythm - with solid educational values, he would be able to provide his child the necessary tools for a promising future. ABOUT GARY BRODY Mr. Brody started his career working for two of New York's largest music retailers - Korvettes Department Stores and King Karol Records. He went on to become Regional Marketing Manager with MCA Records in New York for seven years, working with artists like Tom Petty, Elton John and R.E.M. He has also worked with great singer-songwriters including Nancy Griffith, Lyle Lovett and Steve Earle. It was his work with singer-songwriters that ultimately convinced him to launch his own label - Tangible Music - in the spring of 1995. He went on to work with some fantastic artists, including Iain Matthews, Gary Myrick, Darryl Purpose and blues axeman, "Guitar Pete" Brasino. Now Lovely Baby Music brings Mr. Brody's expertise to a new level - one where helping to create a better world through music is priority number one.
