Music Helps You Sleep
A new study indicates that listening to music before bedtime helps you get a more restful night's sleep, the BBC reports. People who listened to about 45 minutes of relaxing music before going to bed reported a 35% percent improvement "including better and longer night-time sleep and less dysfunction during the day" over those who did not. The improvement occurred within the first week and increased as they "mastered the technique of relaxing to sedative music."
